How it works

How to make a rap video online

  1. ONE

    Cast it

Upload one selfie per person for a duo, one photo of you both, or a single selfie for a solo rap.

  2. TWO

    Write it

The page opens on the how we met topic, a boom bap beat and the graffiti alley stage. Tell your story in two verses and a short hook, or pick another topic and stage.

  3. THREE

    Drop it

Tap render. In 2 to 5 minutes you have a vertical MP4 with no watermark to download and share.

Make your own rap: the structure

Every rap you make here has the same three parts, which keeps it tight enough for the default 12 seconds:

  • Verse 1, about 16 to 22 words. Set the scene.
  • Verse 2, about 16 to 22 words. The answer, the twist or the punchline.
  • Hook, 1 to 6 words, said together at the end.

In a duo, person 1 takes verse 1 and person 2 takes verse 2. In solo mode, one person raps all of it. Shorter clips get shorter verses. Every topic comes with ready-made lyrics, so you can start from a working draft instead of a blank box.

Telling a story in two verses

The default topic here is how we met, and it makes a good template for any story rap:

  • Verse 1 is the before. Where you were, what went wrong, how you crossed paths.
  • Verse 2 is the now. What changed, and why you're still friends, still together or still arguing about it.
  • The hook is the moral. "Day ones!" "Best mistake!" "Ten years strong!"

Boom bap (dusty 90s drums and piano, about 90 BPM) is the default beat because it is slower, so story lines come through clearly. Switch to trap if you want more energy.

Rap maker online vs. an app or a studio

You install nothing. Kiravu runs in the browser on your phone or laptop, and you never film or edit. The performance, the beat and the lip-sync are rendered for you by ByteDance Seedance.

What you control: the words, the stage (9 to choose from), the beat (3) and who is in it. What you skip: the mic, the lights, the location and the twenty takes.

A quick check before you hit render

Thirty seconds of checking saves a redo:

  • Read both verses out loud. Cut any word you trip over.
  • Look at the photos. Front-facing, good light, shoulders in frame, no sunglasses or heavy filters, one face per photo in a duo.
  • Match the beat to the topic. Melodic for love, birthday and Christmas songs. Trap or Boom bap for the rest.
  • Pick the model and resolution. 720p on Standard is plenty for a group chat. 1080p on Pro or Flagship costs more and looks sharper on a big screen.

How much does it cost to make a rap video?

A standard song (12 seconds at 720p on Standard) costs 10 credits; faster or sharper models, 1080p and longer clips cost more. You can buy once or subscribe:

  • Single: $9.99 for 10 credits, about one song.
  • Duo Pack: $29 for 50 credits, about 5 songs.
  • Crew Pack: $99 for 350 credits, about 35 songs.
  • Monthly plans start at $29.90 for 100 credits, refreshed every month. Cancel anytime.

Pack credits never expire. There's no free trial, but a failed render costs nothing because the credits come back automatically.

Raps worth making

Pick a topic, keep or rewrite the verse, and you have a song.

How we met

The default. Two verses about the day it all started.

Who cooks better

A kitchen argument settled on beat. Example: "Your pasta's so soggy it could swim in the pot, I bring the heat and you bring what you got."

Graduation

Four years in twelve seconds. Send it to the class group chat.

Family

Sunday dinner, the loud uncle and Grandma keeping the beat.

Christmas card

Swap the paper card for the Christmas lounge stage and the Melodic beat.

Halloween

Costumes, candy and fog on the Halloween night stage.

FAQ

FAQ

Do I need to know how to rap?

No. You write or pick the words; the video handles the delivery, the beat and the lip-sync.

Is this rap maker free?

No. Each video uses credits: 10 for a standard song (12 seconds at 720p), 5 at 480p. There's no free trial, and the cost shows before you render. The rap name generator is free.

Can I make a rap with one photo?

Yes. Use Solo for one person, or Duo from one photo if a single picture shows both of you side by side.

Do I need an app?

No. It runs in your browser. You upload, edit, render and download from the same page.

Can I make it longer than 12 seconds?

Yes, up to 15 seconds. You pick 5, 8, 10, 12 or 15 seconds, and longer clips cost proportionally more. Every video is one take; 12 seconds fits two verses and a hook.

Where do my videos go?

Into My videos in your account. They stay there until you delete them.

What if a render fails?

Your credits come back automatically, so a failed render is free.
