We looked at nine tools that turn photos into a rap or singing video and wrote down what each one needs, what it makes and what it costs.

Tools that write the song for you
These four take your photos and give back a finished clip with vocals and a beat. You don't need a track, a mic or editing software.
Kiravu and Rap Duo AI are the closest pair. Both render with ByteDance Seedance models (2.0 Mini, 2.0 Fast, 2.0 and 2.5) and charge the same credit table: a 12-second video costs 5 credits at 480p on the cheapest model, 10 at 720p, and up to 93 at 1080p on Seedance 2.5. The pack prices match too. The differences are in what you can set up. Kiravu has 9 stages, 3 beats, 13 lyric topics you can rewrite word by word, a solo mode, a choice of 5 to 15 seconds and an automatic lyric check that re-renders a take that misses your words. Rap Duo AI states faster renders (2 to 3 minutes), raps in six named languages, allows commercial use and has grown into a wider effects site. Hotel Lobby AI (hotellobbyai.dev) focuses on the trend: two photos, original lyrics and vocals, 5 to 15 seconds. It doesn't publish pack prices on its homepage, so work out the real cost per video before you buy.
Fuzana also generates original vocals and accepts pets. Its credit prices per clip are listed, but the dollar price of its credit packs wasn't published when we checked.
Tools that need your audio, or none
Dreamina AI MV Maker (from CapCut, running OmniHuman 1.5) is the pick if you already have a song. Upload one photo and a WAV or MP3 and it animates the face to your track. Dreamina itself points you to an AI song tool for the music.
Make Hotel Lobby and aihotellobby.dev recreate the Hotel Lobby frame without writing anything. Make Hotel Lobby's 16-second clips are silent; you add the sound inside TikTok. aihotellobby.dev keeps the template's soundtrack and doesn't guarantee lip-sync. Starrd, which we left out of the table, says its template runs on "the real track underneath". Keep in mind that the trend has drawn criticism for recreating Takeoff, who died in 2022 (see our Hotel Lobby trend guide).
General video apps with a rap mode
Viggle is the most generous on free use: five videos a day, watermarked. Its Mic and Rap tools animate one photo to text, your recording or music, with AI-written lyrics as an option. It isn't built around two people sharing a stage.
Dreamina's Hotel Lobby filter uses the same Seedance 2.5 model as the top tiers of Kiravu and Rap Duo AI, at a very low first-month price. It's prompt-driven, so expect to write prompts and bring your own song.
Where Kiravu falls short
We'd rather you pick the right tool than buy the wrong video:
- No free trial. There are no free credits and no free preview. The cost shows before you tap the button. Viggle is the place to try something free.
- 15 seconds at most. It makes short clips, not full songs or multi-shot music videos.
- Two people at most, in one locked-off, waist-up shot. No camera moves, no cuts.
- Renders take 2 to 5 minutes. You can leave the page, but it isn't instant, and Rap Duo AI states 2 to 3 minutes.
- Personal and social use. Kiravu's terms cover personal use and sharing on social and messaging apps. If you need a commercial license, ask first, or use a tool whose terms allow it.
- English works best. Chinese works well and other major languages usually work, but a fast verse in a rarer language can miss words.
Where it fits: duo or solo raps with your own words, roast battles where the two of you turn and face each other, birthday and love songs on the Melodic beat, and the Hotel Lobby orange booth with an original verse. Failed renders are refunded automatically, and the lyric check re-renders a take that misses too many words (the refund policy has the exact rules).
Seven things to check before you pay anywhere
- Likeness. Watch sample videos with the sound on. Faces should stay the same person from the first frame to the last.
- Lip-sync on fast lines. Rap has more words per second than singing. If the demos drift, yours will too.
- Lyric control. Can you write every word, in your language?
- Price per finished video. Work it out at the resolution you want, not the headline price.
- Render time. And whether you can close the tab and come back.
- Watermark. On the free tier and on paid downloads.
- Failed renders and refunds. Automatic credits back, a support ticket, or nothing.
Also check how long uploaded photos are kept (Kiravu deletes them after 7 days) and whether the audio is original or borrowed, because borrowed audio can get a post muted.

On October 24, 2026 we read each tool's own homepage, pricing page, FAQ and terms, and noted only what they state. Where a site showed two different prices (Rap Duo AI's Single pack), we list both. We did not buy a video from every tool, so this table doesn't score output quality; watch each tool's own samples before you pay. Reviews from app stores are labeled as such. Hedra, Pika, Kling and Higgsfield were left out because we couldn't confirm a current photo-to-rap feature or price from their own pages that day. We'll review this page every quarter.
