Most rap names follow a few patterns. Once you see them, you can mix your own:

• Adjective + noun. Something you are plus something you'd put on a chain: Golden Pothole, Velvet Parking Ticket, Quiet Thunderclap.

• Say it out loud. If it's awkward to shout, it won't work in a hook.
• Keep it short. Two or three syllables are easier to chant.
• Search it before you commit. Make sure a real artist doesn't already use it.
• Match the vibe to the moment. A funny name for a birthday video, a trap name for a hype clip.
